Consuelo stirred in her sleep, she heard the others moving around the house but she did not want to go out just yet. She turned over and tried to fall back asleep, thinking of the one memory that did not fit.

The pale light of the dawn sun danced through the window, casting playful shadows across the room. Junk sat up in her bed, dazed. 'Morning already?' she groaned as she threw back the covers and stepped onto the floor. A bit wobbly for a minute, she soon gathered herself, taming the wild jungle around her head into her usually curly mess of hair. She set off into the corridors of the great home, steadily approaching the rooms she had assigned to her guests the night before. Still rubbing the sleep from her eyes, Junk rapped hard on Consulo's door, then unceremoniously barged in. 'Breakfast in fifteen minutes,' she announced, repeating the ordeal with Ink next door.

Consuelo quickly brushed her hair pulling it back into a ponytail and she ran downstairs for breakfast almost running into a dark haired boy. "Sorry! I did not see you, I am Consuelo. Can you forgive me?"

Junk quietly prepared breakfast in the kitchen. She looked around, and once she was quite sure no one was around, she let herself change. Her body slowly shifted and changed until there was no longer a husky, fifteen year old girl with brown hair, but instead a tall twenty-some woman with blonde hair that cascaded in curls down her back. She glanced up at the mirror hanging on the wall, and she was swept away by her memories.
Nothing made sense. It was all confusing and a daze. Honestly, the girl wasn't sure witch way was up, not to mention her name. She was lost in the endlessness, but fighting it-like swimming in the ocean during a storm. She was stranded in the vastness of it all. The world itself was okay-the sun always shined and people were always nice to her, but it was a puzzle with half the pieces missing.
But then there was the music. When she was listening to the music, the haze drifted from her mind and everything made sense. There had to be a reason why she knew the words to all these songs. She was entranced by the wonder of it all, the rising voices, the crashing chords, the poetic lyrics. And then it happened-she realized it. It was like the rising orchestra in 'A Day in the Life'; all confusing and angry and too much to bear-and then suddenly everything came together and exploded into gold. Well, not exactly, but you get the idea.
She realized it wasn't real. That somewhere in a far off distant land, far across the sea miles away from everything, she was real, the same girl-with the same curly blonde hair and brown eyes- would be living and breathing and generally being in the state of reality, whilst she was stuck here. It was quite the revelation.
Suddenly, though, the people around her seemed sad and bland and lost, so she put a smile on her face and set out to be alone. And wouldn't you know it-she met people just like her, who denied the fact that the life they were living truly existed. They laughed and they smiled with each other.
And then strange, wonderful things started to happen. The girl suddenly found that when she touched things, she could change them and they would stay that way. And her friends could do amazing things-Veg could spit fire from his hands and Jetta could fly. Lylia could make things grow, so they made a huge and beautiful home from the trees. And as Kaniwr could move so swift, he found a great multitude of people who were similar in mind to join them in the wilderness, and they became a great, thriving community who lived among the trees.
But while people were changing and growing, the girl wanted to stay the same. What they had was good, so when Veg suggested they make another camp, she sorely refused him. So while the girl could shift and change the people or things around her, she became steadfast. Her golden locks darkened into brown, and her eyes became a vivid green. And she would not age.
The girl became Junk- lying forgotten and discouraged when the others killed themselves from the misery of no escape. But the girl remained the same-but darkly different all at once.
The plod of footsteps shook Junk away from her memories, and she quickly became what she always was to other people-a small, slightly crazed girl with the green eyes. She finished stirring the oatmeal on the stove and poured it into three separate bowls-one for her and each of her guests. Quite satisfied, she carried the bowls from the kitchen and into the dining hall and carefully set them onto the table, sitting herself down at it's head.
((was bored...heheheh...))

((But interesting )) Consuelo smiled as Junk brought in the food. "Thank you for making breakfast." She eyed the other two, the boy she could not read but Junk, something was on her mind.

Ink had followed behind the girl who had almost run into him and into the dinning hall. He sat down in the furthest chair he could get from Consuelo. "...It smells good." He sat there with his head drooped over his hair covering most of his face. Tired, but not tired enough to actually sleep, he was sort of in a daze with his mind drifting off to some random thing he could think about.

Junk turned to Consulo, her eyes dancing with curiosity. 'Pardon me for asking,' she began quietly, 'But have you ever heard of the Wakers?'

"Once in passing, a long time ago. A friend who disappeared mentioned them before leaving the city we were living in at the time. I never saw them again, and it became too painful living in the city after that. I left and found Pan, I have been traveling ever since."

A light smile, carrying a hint of sadness in it, crossed Junk's face. 'What was their name? I'm a Waker, you know-one of the first. I knew every single person to enter this place.' She leaned back in her seat, a content smile on her face, her hair lightening a shade and her eyes fading to hazel. 'Yeah,' she said wistfully, 'Those were the days.

Ink glanced over at Junk. "What ever happened to everyone else, you seem to be the only one here?" His eyes were still a bit glazed over, still lost in his own mind.

Junk shifted uncomfortably in her seat. 'Uhhh, I'd rather not talk about it...' she mumbled, 'It's a...rather unpleasant tale.'

"Her name was Callisto, we were as close as sisters. That's why I was so hurt by her leaving. Do you know her?"

Junk's eyes clouded with sadness. Blinking back a tear she shook her head. 'I wasn't close with her, but I knew her. She was a good person.'

Ink looked back at the food that sat in front of him. "They're all dead arn't they.... every single person who has ever been here but you."

Junk buried her face in her hands, suddenly appearing older. She stifled a sniffle and raised her head slightly, wiping a tear from her eye. 'Not all of them are dead,' she whispered, 'Just most of them. The rest went crazy...and may have ended up dead.'
